Podracing Series | "Gumjar"

Raised on the sticky fortunes of the galaxy-spanning “Galactic Gum Jar” confectionery empire, a young pilot nicknamed “Gumjar” entered the Podracing circuit less as an athlete and more as a lavish family advertisement wrapped in durasteel and ion flame. Though critics dismissed him as a sponsored aristocrat with quick reflexes and deeper pockets, he earned a loyal following through reckless canyon dives and an uncanny ability to finish races with half his steering assembly missing. At the height of the Outer Rim racing boom, children traded holographic cards bearing his likeness beside Galactic Gum Jar coupons, turning the pilot into one of the era’s strangest commercial icons.
