Podracing Series | Splitbeam
“Sleek, sharp, and unmistakable in its white and red chassis, the podracer known as "Splitbeam" was originally commissioned by a wealthy investor on Hosnian Prime - intended as a status symbol more than a serious racing contender. Its most distinctive feature, a glowing yellow power coupling, was a custom detail meant to catch eyes in private hangars rather than arenas. But when the investor lost interest and left the racer to gather dust, a group of young mechanics from the lower docks "borrowed" it under the cover of night. Rebuilt with scrap, tuned to the edge of legality, and piloted by a rotation of street racers, Splitbeam defied expectations by racking up victories in the volatile and unforgiving Spec-B competition series.”
Handmade scratch built and kit bashed Podracer scale model including framed “Motion Blur” display base.
